Weekend was quiet didn't do much! Lockie was his usual mischievous self. Saturday morning he painted more or less the whole of the kitchen and himself in weetbix, and then in the afternoon while I popped upstairs he decided to make a few cups of hot chocolate. Sofia-mei hurt her leg and we had screams because of the blood so we went through nearly a packet of plasters.
Sunday was a quiet day at home with a quick trip to tescos for last minute shopping for dinner. Took Lockie and poppy who had fun on the little rides outside! Xxx

Day one of the holidays!!
Well today was pretty hectic! Day one of the holidays and was a busy day. My day started at 5.30am with a demanding Lockie who wanted his bottle of milk and watch bob! Brayden when he arised
was in full meltdown mood and wasn't happy with the days activities.
Lockie got very excited when he saw some snow had fallen during the night! 1st stop was bowling at 10am which Poppy, Thomas and Sofia-mei was looking forward to it. Brayden on the other hand just wanted to spend the day at home. Bowling went well as it could, Lockie enjoyed the 1st few goes and then soon lost interest, fanny Anna (Sofia-mei) refused to bowl as soon as we got in there and spent the time sat on the iPad while Brayden was just Brayden.
Next stop was back home for eggs on toast and a quick cuppa and then down to Conor's work to drop poppy, Thomas, Sofia-mei and Lockie off while Brayden and I went off for his appt. Actually enjoyed leaving them all with him to babysit! Haha. Turned out the appt was longer than I was expecting and ended up getting the "where are you??" Phone call as we was walking out of the hospital! Arrived at Conor's work to find a very stressed Conor! Hahaha
Next stop was home for an hour and then we was off to activity world! Which went very well, all kids had loads of fun and all played nicely. We had no dramas and we didn't get home till 8pm and got a yummy Chinese takeaway to finish the day off!

Run In the snow with prams and toddlers!
Had a great active day. Today George, Lesley-Anne and I planned our usual run during the day rather than in the evening. Down fall was we would have our 3 cheeky toddlers with us! Lol but we was all looking forward to it all prepared with our jogging prams, kids wrapped up and snuggled and the flask ready for our cuppa at the end. I did my usual walk to our meeting spot and then we all walked to our local country park, ferry medows. Was extremely Icy and cold to start but we soon warmed up. We did our 30min workout and then the kid had a play at the park. Lockie and I then walked the 50 min walk home and then chilled for the rest of the afternoon. Great day!

Kids go back to school!
Love Mondays!! Kids go back to school! After a weekend with a busy house I do love a quiet Monday!
Yesterday it snowed loads so the snow in Peterborough is pretty deep! Most schools were shut apart from a couple and yep you guessed ours was open! Was hoping for a day off from the school run but it wasn't meant to be! Luckily conor took the kids to school by car with Lockie so was able to do the house work while they was gone so when they got back conor went on to work and Lockie and I chilled! Love mornings with just Lockie and I coz he's so quiet and happy on his own and reminds me of a cheeky mischievous puppy looking for something naughty to do! We had eggs on toast which he ate all up! Love the fact that's he's enjoying food at the moment! We had a play and then he had a nap while I got on with washing and bits and bobs. Had to wake him up for school run but he was in for a treat....
Yesterday we finally dragged my 3 wheeler Jane pram out of storage. Cleaned it all up, pumped the tyres up and so it was raring to go. Pure luxury for Lockie. He couldn't wait to get in it after a year of using a stroller! He can slob out as much as he likes haha. :) so we road tested it today when we did the school run in the snow and was pure bliss to push. Boy had I missed it!
Kids were all quiet after school and this evening. A few squabbles but nothing major. So a pretty nice evening too! Xxx

Oops better blog!!!
Oops hadn't realised I haven't blogged my exciting life for nearly a week! Well nothing too exciting has happened. We have snow! We're expected to get more so all hoping for a snow day Monday.
The week has been pretty good. Lockie had an amazing session at tot group on Tuesday. The best he has ever done!! Which is pretty good going for someone who refused to walk through the door only a few months ago! So yeah I was a tad proud of him!
Wednesday I finally got my washing machine fixed after a week of it being broken! Boy is it hard work hand washing 5 kids clothes!!! It really does make you appreciate things when they are not available!
Wednesday was also a day I received the report from Lochlainn's appointment at the end of last year. The dr confirmed that its for definite that he has a nureological development disorder. She also states that she doesn't know yet what he will be diagnosed with as he shows traits of both Autism and ADHD so basically will be as matter of waiting and seeing! Basically the same as my older son Brayden who is complex and at the age of 8 has only received all his diagnosis's so we are prepared that it will yet another long journey ahead. But at least this time we won't necessary need full answers as we are aware of what is already in our family. It's just a matter now of helping Lockie deal with everyday life and at this moment in time he is actually coping quite well. So fingers crosses he will prove us all wrong! (Love you Lockie! xxx)
Wednesday was also a day we booked our annual holiday!! Whoop whoop!! I never used to be into holidays as I'm a home bird but the last few years as a family we are loving our holidays! This year we have booked a week to south Devon staying in a cottage for a week on a farm with no one else around!! I'm so excited. Means my crazy kids can make as much noise as they like. Brayden can have as many meltdowns as he likes with only the animals to stare at him! And Lockie can scream till his heart is content!! Lol :) no sensory overload just pure nature!
Thursday we had a lazy day! Although I did walk to school and we had our run in the evening which is going really well!
Friday we went for lunch at Frankie and bennies for a friends birthday. Was yummy and the kids behaved theirselves!
Saturday was so cold so we just had a short play in the snow and in the afternoon Conor took Poppy and Brayden to the posh game which they lasted half an hour before ringing me to let me know they was on their way home!
Was far too cold and far too noisy for Brayden. It always makes me sad when he is so looking forward to doing things but can never carry it through. Also makes me sad when he's out at the stares he gets. Conor (his dad) said he had to lay down a few times to do some shaking and chanting and he aaid he felt like everyone was staring. It surprises me how people still stare when I feel that now days its not so rare to see special needs but I guess that's life, and which is why I try to raise awareness for autism as I can. I feel it's so important for these children for people around them to be aware of their needs and differences just to make their life's easier. Xxxx

A Tough Lesson learned! :(
Was having a great day! Finally after many years of having loads of pure rubbish in the garden we have finally managed to get rid of it all!!! was so happy! Next step is to slab the garden so its safe for my mischievous children to play and they dont get filthy and muddy. Will be nice to see Lockie playing on his ride along bikes in the garden. Daddy is going to make a big sandpit for them all and i would like to make a mini sensory area for them. Really looking forward to summer now.
Being in a good mood I cooked an amazing roast chicken dinner. Even made a trifle! My 1st ever trifle I`ve made and I even made home made Yorkies. Was all so yummy!!!
We also had a break through today too! My other half admitted that he liked our bunny rabbits!!!! Weve had them for a year now and he always said he dont like rabbits, well today he admited that he thinks "Coco" our choclate ottar rex bunny is very cute and he even stroked her and said how lovely she feels to touch! wondering whether expansion to our bunnies will be possible?? lol
Well here comes the painful bit.... After getting the kids off to bed nice and early, I sit down to check my bank account and I notice Im £160 down! After going through it its apparent that my darling 8 year old son Brayden has been downloading games, movies and music. It is my fault as I must of saved my bank card details on it when i bought him a £1.27 game back on boxing day. When quizzed Brayden is adamant that he thought they was all free!! whether I believe him or not is a different matter but i guess its my own fault and £160 later a tough lesson learned. Kids who would have them?? lol xxx

A pretty good day!
Well today was the day the kids went back to school!! Sofia-Mei and Brayden was not happy bunnies! Lol but they soon settled back and they all had a good day! Was nice picking up a happy Brayden. Lockie and I went to tescos which went pretty well! Lockie can now manage tescos without too many issues and starts the screaming as we finish so not too bad! Well done Lockie for letting mummy do some shopping! We then went off to celebrate Lockie's friend Joshy's 2nd birthday with all their little friends. The morning went well and they all seemed to enjoy their choccy cake! After party time Lockie had a well earned nap while mummy chilled and caught up on washing! Tonight we went for our run and Brayden joined us tonight and we could only manage 3.5 miles roughly! But he did amazing! Well done Bray Bray xxxxxx
